VMworld 2009 Boot Camp Surprise:
VMware is an awesome company. As I reported earlier, the boot camp had some major technical issues. I received this email today from VMware:
"Thank you for attending the invitation only vSphere Bootcamp on Sunday, August 30th. We realize your experience was not optimal due to system issues. As a valued VMware customer, we would like to offer you a complimentary pass to VMworld 2010, August 30 – September 2 . You’ll automatically receive an email early next year with details on how to register but please keep this email as your reference."
Now that is a company standing behind their VMorld experience! AWESOME!

I am a VCP2, VCP3, VCP4, and VCP550. Novant Health is a integrated system of 15 medical centers, 1,123 doctors in 343 clinical locations serving 3.5 million people throughout NC, SC, Virginia, and Georgia with 24,400 employees. We have a large and very successful Epic EHR implementation. I have been with Novant Health for 25 years. I was a featured speaker at the first annual NC/SC VMware Summit Event in 2008. I have been a speaker at several VMUG events in Charlotte and Greensboro, NC. I have been invited to blog for Virtualiziation Review and join VMware's Cloud Team. The past two years I have actively participated with a Healthcare Virtualization Community program ran by VMware that connected all VMware Healthcare customers on the east coast via Socialcast and monthly meetings geared towards sharing knowledge and best practice to help each other be more successful for our patients!

I wish I could say the same. Vmware cancelled our course 2 workingdays ahead. We had already booked flighttickets and hotel, so we ended up with expenses we would never had if we hadn't entered for the course... :-(
We sent a complain to vmware about the late cancellation, but we never got a final response...
I'm so disappointed in Vmware...
