IMPACT OF VMWARE LICENSE CHANGES

The VMGUY has a great article explaining final days of the special licensing promotions and impact on how this might affect you or your purchasing decisions.

I know the Per VM licensing changes for say SRM helps those wanting to protect Risk 1 and 2 virtual machines in an affordable way. But if I was a big VMware customer that had really wanted to use SRM to protect everthing…this seems to KILL that Idea COST wise.
